Posts: 386 That's why it's great. ME is real, unlike all the stuff I read before and after Tolkien. It looks (and was intedned to look in the end) much like history, with it's different sources of inforamation and different accounts of what really happened. IRL you never get any pure information, and always have to calculate for yourself what is more plausible. A story must be told or there'll be no story, yet it is the untold stories that are most moving
