Eye Saruman's Brooch???

I was browsing through the Noble Collection, the place that makes reproduction LotR jewelry, and I came upon a product called "Saruman's Brooch". Here's a picture:

I never saw any pictures of Saruman wearing that. Am I missing something?

Thumbs up

You'll find all kinds of people here at BD, like me for example, I have ordered it! It's beautiful! But I agree; I have never seen it in the movie, and if it had been there, I would have seen it (due to my research on Sarumans costume, which I have made for the Big Day :-). Maybe it appears in the second movie. He should have had a Ring too, but I never noticed that. Maybe the Brooch is instead of the Ring...?
EDIT: Grammatical errors.
[ November 27, 2002: Message edited by: Morima ]

Cool Brooch!
That's just advertising inventing stuff. Never saw that in movie, and certainly not in books.

Ohhh, THIS is really beautiful! And it is Saruman's brooch - a reason to buy it for Christmas! Where can I order it, and how much does it cost?
Horror and LotR

Hi Fleance! You can order it from The Noble Collection. It costs 75 dollars plus shipping. Since you're (I think) German, you'll have to place the order through mail. Or you can call them, as I did. You find the international number in their information pages, but remember their area code, +1.

Wow, thats really cool looking! *wants it* But 75 dollars? Hehe, I don't think I'm going to get it. There is a lot of cool stuff on that site, but I can't afford any of it. Heh, I want Glamdring.
I've never heard of Saruman having any brooch, or anything like that.

Some time ago I got a calender from LotR for 2003. There were many pictures of the characters plus symbols that belong to them. So there was Arwen's necklace for Arwen, the Ring for Sauron etc. And for saruman there was a lizard. Can we combine it with the strange brooch they are selling?
Horror and LotR

Well, I was in a bookstore, looking at the LotR bookmarks, (and drooling, but never mind that.) and instead of them all having rings, like they did last year, they each had different little charms. Rohan had a horsehead, and I think Saruman's was a lizard. (The hobbits, o'course had the Ring.) Maybe that has somethin' to do with this.
