Message in a Bottle
No, no exactly in a bottle, but in the Guestbook! Read this...<P><B>Elijah Wood <BR>from I'm in Paris now! 1/15/2003 6:35:04 PM <BR>Hey guys. Hope you enjoy this awesome LOTR site, and have a good time seeing the Two Towers this December!</B><P>Uh, is this someone's cruel way of making a funny joke or something? Cause that freaked me out when I first read it. But then again, I thought about it. Look at the date...January 15th. And it says "have a good time seeing the Two Towers this December"<P>Wouldn't December have already passed? If anyone knows who did this, please tell so I don't go freaking out again. And what does everyone think of this?

Anyone can type "I'm Elijah Wood". Ha, I just did it. I have no idea who said that in the guestbook, but he/she obviously wasn't trying very hard if he/she couldn't even keep his/her chronology straight. Ah well, intelligent people don't usually pull mindless pranks like that, anyway.

Oh please. PJ wouldn't bother to post here, (especially after all the bad stuff a lot of us have said about him ) The Elijah Wood one was poorly done too. How much do you want to bet that these people have absolutely no lives whatsoever?

I saw a similar thing on a Star Wars site. I think it's sick, making fun of us and trying to get a reaction.<P>But this person could just be an Elijah Wood fan and wrote that. It wasn't necessarily a prank.

Someone did that on a site for my friend's band. They pretended to be him and everyone got so excited, but I could tell by his writing style that it was not really him. People got really mad when they found out. I guess some people just don't have anything better to do,<BR>So, I don't believe when I see things like that. Besides, even if Peter Jackson or Elijah Wood did post here they would probably use an alias name so that they can really spy and interact with us.<BR>That's just what I think.

Maybe it was him ... and maybe he meant "I hope you had a good time seeing TTT this December ..." You never know ...

Oh, good, Maika has brought a little light onto the subject! It could be him...in a very weird and ignorant way as every member on here would be eager to talk to him. Thanks for giving your positive view on the whole thing, Maika. <P>But as for me, yeah, I doubt it was him. I agree with Tigerlily. If he was stupid enough to put his real name on a site where people practically worship his existance, then he deserves to be tracked down and mobbed by fans. But I don't think that was the case. Too bad...

I don't think Elijah would spend his time in Paris on the Barrow Downs. Also, didn't he just get back from Paris a month ago?

Lol. Ya know, it's funny cause I think he did. Dang, this person had to be really stupid or high when writing that message. If I was going to do that, I would at least have checked my facts before writing. That way people might have believed a little bit.

It's kinda sad, actually, but those things pop up in every fan site . . . one of my friends got really excited when she visited a Haley Joel Osment site because 'he' signed the guestbook . . . *sigh*<P>But wouldn't it be cool if he was actually a member here? Or what if any of the LOTR actors were a member here? You never know . . . you could be talking to Elijah himself!! <p>[ January 18, 2003: Message edited by: Merri ]

I was just thinking that Merri, that anyone of us could be a cast member, stage crew, extra, or kin to somebody who worked on the movie. Not likely, of course, but not impossible. <P>LOL. Some people need lives if they think posing as the cast members is amusing. Bleh to them. <p>[ January 19, 2003: Message edited by: Fingo ]

If someone like that was registered though, they probably wouldn't be on very often and they would avoid all threads that could possibly reveal them. You won't dare see Elijah click on the All About You thread!
