Do they meet again?
I was just wondering, At the end of The fellowship of the ring Frodo says he dosent think he will ever see the other members of the fellowship again. I've read only parts of the book and i was just curious. Does he? i know he meets Gandalf, pippin and merry again. but what about Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli? Well i hope someone can help me out. Thanks.

Nope, they all die in the end.

Wouldn't you rather we not give it away? No? Oh, okay then. They all meet up in Minas Tirith in the end and it's fun and happy and all that carp (mis-spelling intentional)

Ah! Pookabunny! That was mean! ((laughs behind her hand))<P>You really ought to read the books, Sauron. (Man, how wrong does that sound?) They're wonderful. Ithaeliel, of course, is right, but it's definitely worth reading. And I always cry at the end. But that's just me.<P>~*~Orual~*~

I cry too, Orual! I don't feel so alone anymore! I especially get all weepy when Frodo is trying to explain to Sam that, despite the sacrifices some make, they don't always get to enjoy the reward and also... Oh wait. READ THE BOOKS SAURON! Your namesake gets a big kick in the bootie at the end that is WORTH the read. <P>*~ Happy 111th Birthday to Prof. Tolkien on Jan 3rd!*~

We can't tell you, that would give it all away. I have been having the same problem with my mother, she has seen the movies and is asking me all these questions about what happens to the charaters, and I can't tell her because it gives the entire story away. So I tell her "read the book, it's really good" and that is what you should do too.

You know what cracks me up? When you actually DO tell someone the ending, and they're like "really?"<P>So ya might as well liven it up with a fun tale!!!<P>I was most unfortunate to tell my mom the ending and she didn't like it. It's bad enough that I had to painsakingly divulge the details to someone who only read the prologue to Fellowship, but that she didn't appreciate it. Talk about frustrating.
