Sting In response to Manwe's question...

Hi all. I started a new topic from an old one 'cause I figured that was the only way to get mine read (orginal was 47 posts long!!)

In response to the who is more beautiful, Arwen or Galadriel, I would have to say Arwen. Her dark features are perfect. And her voice! I couldn't imagine a more elf-like voice; she was perfect as Arwen. Don't get me wrong, Cate was beautiful as Galadriel, but she was too pale, and she gave me the shivers-those creepy eyes!

You know, 47 replies isn't a lot... There are some topics which have 10+ PAGES!!!!! Just thought you'd like to know.
As for Cate vs Liv, I do not feel that either of them were "elvish" enough...

Finally, someone who hasn't dissed Liv's voice! She was doing it low for a reason, to be portrayed as wise and calming. I personally loved it, but I still like Cate's portrayal better. Especially after seeing the special edition DVD. Did you see her laugh? It looked like Sam described her, "as gentle as a hobbit lass with daisies in her hair" I don't think the word was gentle, but I'm too lazy to run down to my room and grab the books. Sorry
