Great Quiz I found in my wanderings.
As they say:"Not all those who wander are lost."
I thought this was pretty cool so I decided to share it with all my fellow 'Downies.Post questions, comments and high scores\levels here. lordotrings.com Black and green on my computer screen, Vuelve <font size=1 color=339966>[ 10:39 PM January 23, 2004: Message edited by: Vuelve ]

Man! Those last two sections are really hard! I got through the first ones really easy and then they say "At what age did Bilbo adopt Frodo as his heir?" and "In what year was The Hobbit first published?"
Needless to say, I bombed that section.

Court Historian is a very respectable post. Although I'd much prefer Resident Head Loremaster so I can be in charge of a nice big library and teach all the little kiddies about all the gory battles that took place in the First Age.

Shmuck!! I didn't make it through, I got stuck on level three with "Where are the Chamber of Fire and the Hall of Fire?"
Using the books is cheating, at least in my opinion, but then I still suck don't I? I still had six wrong total up to that point.

Without the books I only got two wrong!
Although I did give myself a second chance twice. Anyway, I haven't read the hobbit for a long, long time. So I'm proud of myself.

Someone who reads the biographical information. It's always nice to know where your author is coming from. Granted I didn't remember it for the quiz. x_x But I think I did well. I think missed like 14, but I pulled the back button cheat so I could feel like a Tolkien scholar with 111. Good quiz though, got to use the old noggin for something besides schoolwork. Thanks for the quiz link!

I got through the first four tests, but not the last two. I'm not ashamed of myself, however, in the least. Just because someone is not an ardent Tolkien scholar doesn't mean they're not intelligent. I speak to all those who feel bad about not passing. I say, good job to all those who (honestly) passed the test. But not to worry, for those who didn't. It's just a little something to do for fun.

Yum! Thanks, Amariden. *sniff* Good thing I've read "The Magical World of the Lord of the Rings", I got some of my answers there. The ones you wouldn't read in LotR.
