Dûrbwúrz's pile of LOTR webjunk
Right i thought it was about time someone put all this stuff into one thread for easy reference. Plus it stop me posting them all over the place. Please feel free to comment on them, and add any of your own that you know about.
Lord of the peeps This site scares me... Ballard of Bilbo BagginsWhat were they thinking?? Lords of the Rhymes Beware of some adult langauge on the video Lord of the Rings (with badgers, mushrooms and all sorts) Don't even ask... Lego LOTR Just pure genius, lotr in lego form... Engrish TTT Engrish btw is where you get english, translate into another language, and then translate back again (if you look at it you'll see what i mean) Mouth of SauronMore weird stuff than you can shake a ring at.... <font size=1 color=339966>[ 5:06 PM January 18, 2004: Message edited by: Dûrbwúrz ]

Then I'll have my Apache-armed soldiers battle the Nazgûl. Cool, eh? ->Elenrod

Gollum looks like Yoda; seriously.
Gwaihir and the Ents look really, really bad, so does the Balrog. The Nazgul aren't too bad, but those have to be the most pathetic Lego figurines I've ever seen.

This site has been around for quite a while, you know. There is a link to it on the Barrow-Downs' Tolkien Links page (under Humour).
Personally, I think that it's great. I'd like to see anyone do better using only the medium of Lego!

I love that website!
Actually thanks to all of you guys for reminding me that I have not been on that Lego site for a while. The last time I was on there they were still only as far as the end of FOTR. Oh, and I have also seen the Fellowship of the Peeps too. But all I can say about that is "oh my!” I do think that their creativity is rather brilliant. I do hope though that maybe the people at Legoland will get into the act. At their parks they have entire replicas of cities done in Lego, and famous monuments like the Eiffel Tower, and the Taj Mahal. They even change them for holidays! Wouldn't a detailed Middle Earth in Lego be amazing? Imagine Lothlorien, Rivendell, and even Bag End! I know they could do it. But they have official Harry Potter Lego’s and not LOTR, so I highly doubt it.

I am totally addicted to Lords of the Rhymes. It's so funny, and they really know their Middle Earth stuff. It's so geeky, but so fun.
I love that Green Eggs and lembas poem. I've seen it all over the place, especially on fanfiction.net, but I keep on coming back to it. Out of interest, do you know who actually wrote it?
