B-D one of seven best!
Barrow-Wight, I just wanted to let you know that the Downs has been given a rating of 5 (out of 5) rings as one of the seven best websites (from a list of 111 internet addresses) by a German CD-Rom. It's called "Das Geheimnis der Ringe" and also includes a map with search function; quiz; paintings/drawings; infos on books, movies, author and characters etc.
Here's a quick translation of the Barrow-Downs description: "A very good page with an atmospheric look and a gigantic palette of background information - for the movie as well. Pictures, games (incl. a German quiz) and downloads belong to the program. A Tolkien fan can find a "gemütliches" home away from home here. The B-D is listed as British-based - I thought it's at home in the US? Anyway, congrats on the great rating! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
