Good ob, Lomelindi! This is kind of harder: what is the name of the wizard that turned Rover into a toy?

Artaxerxes, a passing wizard whom Rover annoyed.
(I read Roverandom and loved it, and you don't easily forget a name like "Artaxerxes.")

Well, Meriadoc has a translation from the Red Book that means the same thing: Kalimac. I don't think I right, though. The Rohirrim called him Holdwine.

Joy's got it.
(I didn't think it was possible for there to be an odder hobbit name than Meriadoc Brandybuck, but there it is poor guy, he's got to have both of the weirdest names.)

I think it's a fairly interesting name. Besides, you have to admit that it's better than Fatty Bolger!!

Iavas is 54 days long and falls between August 12 and October 4 (our calendar, of course). It is the season of late summer through about mid-autumn.

Anguirel and Anglachel were made by Eöl, who made them of some meteor iron he found one day.

They had to, after Feanor deserted them taking all Telleri ships. The only way then to Middle Earth was by crossing the ice of Helcaraxe

Hmmm, I wonder if this one is too hard, since no one replied on the other one... well, never mind.
What did the people of Middle-earth call Vingilot when they first saw it, and what did that name mean? If no one answers in two days, another random person can ask a question.
