Was it that only Fëanor had parents who were both from the same host (both Noldor). Finrod's and Galadriel's mother was Eärwen (Teleri); Idril's mother was Elenwë (Vanyar) and Fingolfin's mother was Indis (Vanyar).

I can only find one single reference to Gildor and that is in Silmarillion where it says he was one of Barahirs 12 "brothers in arms".

The answer is: They were all alive in the third age, except for Gildor.
