Where is the family history?
I have read 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' but still, i have yet to stumble across anything that gives way to Legolas' brothers. I am currently writing a story about them, but need names or I'll end up calling them all brother. ^.^ and that'll be very, very confusing.
Can someone please enlighten me?

I don't recall the books mentioning any brothers or sisters for Legolas, the only family of his mentioned are his father Thranduil, and his grandfather (in Unfinished Tales) Oropher.

I thought he had a couple of brothers...what about other lords of Mirkwood? Were there not any others of his stature?

I don't think Tolkien left any family tree for Legolas(at least I havent seen it) We son't know who his mother is either. But I would like to know.

I think the thing about fanfic is, if it's not anywhere in the books, to add it yourself.
