I had to sift through The Book of Lost Tales, Volume III [/shudder] for the answer, but it's pretty definitive. Fell Beast if nunchucks are allowed. Otherwise, Dragon with hand crossbows akimbo. Unless...Eagle has a deadly Hobbit burglar in its talons!

Airborne Bilbo Baggins >> All, duh.

Actually, to raise the seriousness +.0004%, and bring some delicious "Balrog vs. 200000 Dwarves" logic into this:
Eagle beats Fell Beast. See movie RotK.

Dragon beats Eagle. Ancalagon was only taken down by Earendil + Thorondor + a whole gaggle of Eagles.

Thrush brings wrath of Bard's Black Arrow down on piteously mewling Dragon.
THRUSH is WORLD CHAMP!

My scenario is:dragons and eagles fight it out while fell beast watched.then it attack whoever the winner is because the winner will be too weak to fight.

Pipe

What? Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of the Tappin' Smashin' Passerine, the Thrush of Thrash making his mighty victory warble.

It's patent nonsense, as usual.
