Silmaril Standard of Arnor

I know Rohan, Dol Amroth, and Gondor had their own flags and symbols for their realms, but does anyone know what the symbol for Arnor would be? After some research I'm wondering could it be a star. The Elendilmir was worn by their king and was the token of royalty. It white and star-shaped. King Ellesar gave Sam Gamgee the Star of the Dúnedain, which seemed to be a sort of medal of honor. And lastly, when the Rangers met with Aragorn in RotK in The Passing of the Grey Company, they were described as not having any type of signia, "only that each cloak was pinned upon the left shoulder by a brooch of silver shaped like a rayed star."

Am I correct in my assertion, or does anyone have other resources that talk about Arnor's symbol? Thanks a bunch.

I think that the closest thing that we have to a banner or official emblem of Arnor is that star. The star motif shows up a lot where the Dunedain are concerned, so it seems to be a legitimate emblem.

Emblems and Heraldry
This site is all about banners and emblems, and it's got legitimate references.
According to it, the banner of Aronor is a five pointed star, symbolizing the star of Earendil.

I always thought it was some portable flag with the emblem of the star of the north on it.

Gil-numen, that is what standards usually are.

I always thought of the Arnor standard of old would be different from anything the Dúnedain Rangers may have had. But in general, I always thought of a deep midnight blue field with the Star of Earendil, and maybe the Sceptre of Annúminas as well.

It would be fun to make some 'unofficial' standards for Arnor & the Dúnedain.
