I was wondering if someone else might stumble on that. It IS amazing.
It's part of a larger Middle-earth collection: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/276793 Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul are especially impressive to me, too. Wish I had that kind of spatial reasoning! |

WOW.
These guys sure have a lot of money to buy all those pieces, a lot of patience not to break it from frustration, and A LOT of free time!!! I like Minas Morgul and Rivendell, because they weren't described in great detail and many things are left to the interpretation of the reader. Minas Morgul is just super - it's not this greenish-black thing, but rather something that could have once been Minas Tirith's twin. At the same time, it gives off the impression that is made in the books. But that just can't beat Minass Tirith. That one's my favourite by far. Quote:

This project combines two of the things I love the most - M-e and LEGO.
Awesome stuff!

I just stumbled upon the Flickr album: http://www.flickr.com/photos/4182341...th/5854317277/
After a better look at these higher-res fotos I must say I simply love his attention to small details - like the nice front gate or the Nazgul flying around.
