Galadriel the Dwarf?
I was reading a book by Diana Wynne Jones (fantasy writer), Dark Lord of Derkholm, and there was a male dwarf named Galadriel! The book was published in 1998 so it was probably taken from J R R Tolkien's books. If anyone cares to check, it is first mentioned on page 357. I thought that was very odd!

I'll tell ya one thing. My mother looked nothing like Galadriel, nor did any other female dwarf. And yes, Nazgul, plagerist does taste remarkably like chicken.

I think it's a joke. The whole book is a joke on the genre of fantasy, and a good joke too, from what I've heard.- I think she parodies R.A.Salvatore, who named a male mercenary Luthien... and let's not forget the male Artemises - Artemis alias Diana is originally a greek goddess. Maybe Diana WJ was upset about this... just speculating

Nice pic, Gimli.
1. Galadriel is not a male name. 2. Galadriel is not a dwarf name. 3. It must be a joke.
