Well, even at my young and tender age, I've already decided that I'm going to Oxford. Do they teach it there?

OOOOOOOOOHHH!!!
*jealous jealous* *jealous jealous*
I tried to read the article, but nothing came up (???) What school is this anyways? I'll tell my cousin way way over there (I live in the US) about it! She's a semi-fan of LOTR...but I guess only the really obsessed ones (*coughLikeUscough*) would really be interested...you never know...hmmm...intresting... EDIT: Nevermind, I was able to read it...i had just gone into one of my "WhyWon'tTheComputerWorkI'mSoConfused" phases. Very interesting. Although, my cousin wouldn't be able to go anyways, being female. It just wouldn't work at an all boys school.

That is pretty cool and not really something I would expect from Birmingham.
Lady Snickerdoodle: You probably can learn Sindarin and Quenya at Oxford, if you're a Postgraduate. However, I don't understand why anyone would want to become so involved in such an archaic education system when there are so many brilliant, forward thinking Universities around that can sometimes be better than Oxbridge. But hey, its your dream.

Oh, I saw this in the news section of msn.ca. That's really neat. It would be great to have a course like that in school. I'm going to have to talk to the correspondence course people...
Sirithheruwen, your cousin could pull an Eowyn and take that course!

There's a school in Pennsylvania (don't remember which one- maybe it was Ohio?) that has a Tolkien Dialect class and a Tolkien History class. I'll have to check and see where.

I want to speak Sindarin!!!!!!
I really can't complain about Quenyan cause I'm kinda learning that already. (Thank you Ardalambion!!!!) But that would be so cool to get a course like that in school. Maybe I can get my teachers to organize it. My Drama teacher is a big LOTR fan so . . . . .but I highly doubt that the administration would go for it

All too true Mad Baggins, all too true. I'll suggest it to her right away! (Or until the next time we call...you DO have to pay for long-distance calls you know...hmmm....imagine that!)
