Tuor bore the shield, hauberk, sword, and helm left by Turgon at the instruction of Ulmo.
He also had a great cloak, from Ulmo himself, that mantled him in shadow from the eyes of his enemies.

Back to Tuor. There is a statement that Tuor loved the swans. immediatly afterwords there are given at least two reasons for this love (not counting the probability that besides those two reasons swans are beautiful birds and maybe loved even for their own sake, without other reasons
