i would have liked to be varda also.

nienna: she has always fascinated me as long as i can remember. when i first saw the name i thought, 'that's a beautiful name, i'll call my children that' then i found out that nienna was the weeper and i decided against it but she still absoultely fascinates me. or mandos. imagine speaking the Prophecy to feanor! (i think it was mandos on the rock)

other than that:

fingolfin: because he was truly heroic and his death was beautiful

glorfindel of gondolin: becuase he was just generally great

felagund: same reason as fingolfin

i have no time any more, but i have more. i wouldn't have changed anything about them.

Eru, I hate to follow the crowd, but I would like to be Luthien. Because she was a dancer and she was brave and she had true love.

I would actually like to be Eol. He wasn't that bad a person, if you really think about it hard. He loved the night, he loved his metalworking. I think he loved Aredhel, at least until she left him. He hated the Noldor for their killing of his kin and their 'warmongering.' Were I Eol, I think I would have taken Curufin's advice and gone home when I found that my wife and son were heading to Gondolin. And if I had continued to follow them, I would have accepted Turgon's offer of friendship and not thrown a javelin at Maeglin and gotten myself thrown off of a cliff.

Maeglin, eh, Finwe? I guess you would be my son.

If neither of those two, I would actually like to be Elwing. Having the speech of birds and being able to fly would be pretty dang cool.

And, last, but definitely one of my weirder urges, I would like to be Maglor. It would have been interesting to be one of Feanor's sons and I think he was the sanest in the lot.
