Things needed for a LOTR website - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

I'm was thinking of something to put on my newly aquired net-space, and what better than LOTR!
Well, since Barrow-Downers would be the type of people visiting my site I want your opinion on what is essintal and what you think would be great for an LOTR website.

Hm, essentials for a LotR website... Definitely info on the movies. You know, the latest reviews, pictures, cast members and such. Also stuff to do with Elvish translations, whether it be names or a dictionary or the like, a lot of people want to know how to say things in Elvish. Quizzes and trivia, too. And what about a discussion forum, like this one? [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

a PROPER encyclopedia where important characters such as legolas get an entry first!!!!!!!!!!

sorry... my raving....

anywaaay... u need chat, forums, quizzes, guestbook, proper trivia and fact sheets about the charcters/actors/settings/books themselves/less important characters, eg. glorfindel, celeborn, thranduil/blah... maybe the chronology... stuff like that.

ergh... perhaps on the factsheet area, etc. a posting place for people to put their own opinions/theories/ideas on the characters/settings/themes of the books.

fan fic? fan art? more quizzes [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] stuff like that...

oh, and wat about a place where guests/users can post a mini biography? but only if its like this place... if its not intended for regular users, then no.. but if yes, it would be great, especially if u can opt to put ure real name, etc. but u have room to also put a middle earth biography for ureself.
