for me, the scariest part of the quest would be when sam and frodo are stuck in Mordor. Deep in the heart of enemy territory, no one there to help you, the place SWARMING with orcs and easterlings, the fear that one false move, and it's the end of the world.

I've been thinking. I'm so suspicious of people. Every animal's my friend, and I'm not afraid of imaginary things, but every person is potentially out to get me. If Boromir threaghtened me, I'd probably go nuts!

I think I'd probably be most scaredif I were Merry or Pippin in the company of the Uruk-Hai. Or Frodo on WEathertop, knowing the blackriders were coming for him... [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img]

I think I would have been the most scared at the Battle of the Morannon. Not many people can handle the knowledge that if they lose, they and the world that they know it will be destroyed, and still remain sane. It also took a great deal of courage. Those who know me will vouch for my almost suicidal courage at times, but even I'd be scared witless at that point.
