Back to Barrowdowns after 4 Years!
.
I doubt whether any of you remember me, but hi. In the space of four years, a lot of changes occurred in my life! I got hit by a car and spent half a year in the hospital trying to mend my shattered bones, somehow scratched and clawed my way into the highest-ranking university in Korea, fell in love for the first time, fell out of it, got a part-time job where people actually PAY you to be their interpreter (For a chance to speak in English once more, I'd have paid THEM. Suckers. Heh.) But I could never shake off a vague empty a feeling that I had forgotten something important and precious. Then, four years later, it hit me with a BAM. The Barrowdowns Forum! I was missing you all. So yeah, I'm back. Ah, the Black-And-Sickly-Fluorescent-Green Design brings up so many happy memories, too... . Last edited by Eorl of Rohan; 04-08-2010 at 11:28 AM. |

Welcome back Eorl! It seems life is progressing along well for you to have so much happen in 2 years. Much has happened with me since I first set foot in the Barrows back in 2000.... I know where you're coming from with the happenings.

Hi Eorl! I remember you from the Nśmenórean Blood Runs Black RPG (my first RPG ever, and I was such a newbie back then! Now, as you can see, I have been around more... ) Anyway, welcome back!

Hello from a face you've never seen before! Seems like you've had a lot of Real Life coming at you -- but don't we all? (And oh dear, as of this moment, Lommy has 6666 posts. I feel something earth-shaking coming....)

Starcraft had a II? When? They did not, perchance, release a Baldur's Gate III, did they?
Hospitalization and studying for university exams tends to disassociate you from the world around you. Badly. Last edited by Eorl of Rohan; 04-08-2010 at 11:29 AM. |

Welcome (back), Eorl! If it's four and not two years, then it explains my initial confusion about whether I should know you - now I can peacefully accept the fact that I don't. Nevertheless, hope to get to know you better too, and hope that you are going to enjoy your renewed stay here and remain around

Welcome back! I don't think I ever got to RP with you, but I remember your 'face' so to speak.
Starcraft II still isn't out! Apparently a Baldur's Gate III is in the works (or at least is planned), to be published by Atari...but I don't know who the developer is going to be... |
