ME Decor?
I'm moving into a new house and I thought I might decorate my room like Middle-Earth. Anyone got any ideas?
I was thinking of having a sort of Shire landscape on one wall then merge into Lothlorien kind of thing and then the ceiling would be the night sky with stars.

Ooo that sounds very neat! Hmm...maybe you could have a lot of green like maybe your bed could have like green sheets and pillows ect. For Lothlorien, they sell these very cute small little fountains. Maybe you can put one in your room? There very cute my friend has one. Very Soothing.

i was thinking of doing a room of each
eg. a hobbit kitchen, a lothlorien bathroom/bedroom, a rivendell bedroom, an edoras style great hall/room, and maybe a rivendell room inspired by elrond's library place in the movie. maybe my front door could lead into moria otherwise ill have a large barad-dur style door, and when u open it, 9 cardboard nazgul pop up in front of you

OoOoOoOoO Sounds nice. I was thinking of doing that over Christmas break since were remodeling or house. Like paint the walls different locations of Middle-earth. Thats the best idea. Once you are done you must show pictures!!

My brother just graduated from grade 8, and when I did I moved into the basement and redecorated. Now he's moved into my old room, and we've decorated it with a decided Middle-Earth theme, if not a specific location.
His walls are grey, one green-grey, three light grey. His closet door I am in the process of painting the Moria-door on, with the two trees and the crown and seven stars. Around the border, at the top, I shall be stencilling the Ring insciption in silver and gold. And he has all kinds of old maps on his walls, alongside his didgeridoo (carved and painted), his quiver and bow, and his sword. My brother is so damn cool.... I wish my room looked like that....
