Tolkien Writing Game
Okay, this game is quite simple. You must write, in Tolkien's style, a scene that PJ changed or made up. The person who writes a scene sets the scene to be written by the next poster. Copying from the book is not allowed.
The first scene is this: The Elves arriving at Helm's Deep

The Lay (Off-of-It) or Leavealone.
I don't think you'll get many posts here, as I'm afraid not many people will take the task, it is very daunting. Writing in the manner of Tolkien has been tried by many authors (most have failed badly), however here is my pathetic attempt at poetry:-
Is that the sound of an Elven horn, or the sound of pages that were torn, from Tolkiens world imagine born, left fluttering in the wind forlorn. Above Helm's Gate the men did shout, "Pray tell what is this all about, are there rules he will not flout, no elves fights here without a doubt". Up the ramp they marched in line, as people watching began to whine, "Missing things is nearly fine, but adding them is too malign". Arwen's absence can be pleasing, but Haldir's here and that's deceiving, what other ills are they conceiving, in order for Oscars to be receiving. The world has changed beyond compare, the Ents can smell it in the air, perhaps they stand to near the chair, that once held Jacksons derriere. The next story should be about The meeting of Gandalf and The Lord of the Nazgul, please.
