Children of Iluvator
I've been over to the Sil translation site
(Ow, my achin' head!)and something comes to mind. In my dirty, old dogeared copy, Elves and men are referred to as the children of Iluvator. Yet, in the chapter on Aule and Yavanna, Eru calls the Dwarves the "children of my adoption". If so, is there a place for Dwarves in the song, after the Last Battle? |

Yes, the Encyclopedia of Arda is a very good resource to everything Tolkien. But there is one thing that i thought i'd post just in case it would be another question asked.
It is said that after the end of the world and the Last Battle, the Dwarves are to aid Aulė in the rebiulding of Arda. But what happens after Dwarves deaths remains a mystery. Elves believe that the Dwarves return to the stone in which they were made after their death. But dwarves believe that they are set aside in the halls of Mandos in a section designed for them, and help Aulė in the rebuilding of Arda etc...
