OK, I need advice. I've read the Hobbit, and I've ALMOST finished LotR. But- what next? I have both the Silmarrion and the Unfinished Tales right beside me, itching to be read.... but which one do you recommend I start with???
please help!

Silmarillion first, then Unfinished Tales, followed by Lost Tales I & II.

Silmarillion first. UT is just scraps and scetches, very interesting after you've read everything else.

I agree with the others... Silmarillion first or it will be confusing...

I agree also that you should start with the Sil but I have to warn you that I was very confused while reading it. Take your time and ponder maybe even re-read to understad.
