Yes, 'tis a good giggle, worth running with if Esty will move this to mirth.
I think Spielberg should be involved as well. His recent forays into historical cinema will provide a sense of ballast that The Silm/Appendices deserve. I would hope though that any depictions of Hobbit geneologies wouldn't ressemble too closely the Ewoks.
