2. Pick someone who's an active downer (I didn't pick an obscure one.)
3. Google the place along with "conspiracy."

Because it dawned on me when you said you were hiding it in the open that you were refering to Mac. I googled his town (I can't remember the name now) and it stated something like the biggest consiracy is if this town actually exists. That coupled with your other clues allowed me to know it was him.
