The problem is that, when the sites from whom the pictures are taken close down or reorganise themselves, the links will no longer work. I have had to mend the links to my Celeborn & Galadriel story twice now ...

The side of Gandalf you don't see!
Wow, it's been a while since this thread has been posted on. But alas, I have another one...
Gandalf: I brewed that for you Denethor, Drink up. Denethor: Why? What will it do? Gandalf: It'll make you live longer. Denethor: So, you're saying, if I drink this, it'll prolong my life? Gandalf: That's what I said... (Denethor takes a sip) hehe. (P.S. Sorry, I'm having problems with that second picture. That address seems too long or something. But, it's practically the same as the next Denethor pic)

You know the little "aphorism books", where are usually a pic of an animal and then a caption to it about mundane things in life like work or relationships? . . .
Already when you wake up, you can tell that the day is going to be one of those when the whole world has decided to be against you. You can't find anything decent to wear... ..and you're having a bad hair day. Everything is just out of your reach - even the last cup of coffee... ... and if you didn't know better, you'd say that the world has turned upside down. You want to deny the reality, but unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. Nope, closing your eyes won't work, either. Life has made you crawl, and when you think it can't get any worse... ... that's exactly what's going to happen. When you finally drag home after an exhausting day... ... you discover the horrendous pile of dishes that awaits you. Feels rather suffocating, doesn't it? But it's not time to start hyperventilating just yet. Have something to eat, take a relaxing bath... ... and make sure to take enough time to rest. After all, the odds are that tomorrow won't be any better.

I remember seeing a video clip about using eagles to destroy the Ring, and yes, I shamelessly stole the idea.
~The Lord of the Rings~ The Avian Edition At the Council of Elrond... Seriously, don't you guys have any ideas how we could get the Ring into Mordor? Uh, I can't think of anything. It's not like we could just fly there on a giant eagle and drop it in. Haha, are you kidding me? Just watch. Dum di dum dum *drop* *splash* *BOOOOM* Wow. And what was so hard about that?!

Brings back memories from when I first read LOTR, and I would sit there and try to find a solution to the ring problem as I read The Council of Elrond... I swear, the elves stole my 'Just dump it in the ocean and have the Varda hide it for later' idea.
But, the idea of using the eagles is pure genius... Would ruin a great story to recap on, but very efficient none the less. ~ Reflective Ka

Old fun...
Why capturing and attempting to question the Fellowship would not have worked for Saruman:
Hey, Saruman! Wanna hear a joke?? NO! For the love of all Arda not another one! Awww, somebody told you that one already!

So then...then I told them that I was the standard bearer, and that they had no rights to speak to me that way, and so I spoke to Gil-Galad but haven't heard back yet, and they took my standard... Uh, yeah...I'm going to have to move you to questioning room number 42...it's downstairs in the basement, next to the Uruk breeding pens. But...but I...safety hazards...wait I....I believe you have my standard?
