Was Legolas blond?
What do you think-was Legolas blond?
I think somewhere in the books Tolkien mentioned that he was dark-haired. |

I don't think there is a definitive answer. The only refference I know of in LotR is somewhat questionable:

I tend to declare him dark on the strength of that quotation and my own imagination (when I first read the books I was Legolas, as well as Faramir, and I'm dark.) Also, the Teleri mostly were dark.
But blonders argue that Thranduil the Elvenking, Legolas' father, is described as yellow haired in the Hobbit, and that when Frodo looked at Legolas it was nighttime.
