What happened in the Shire before Bilbo and Frodo? Probably not much at all, I haven't read anything about the history of the Shire and the events that took place before the war of the ring.

if you've finished the books(god save you if you haven't) then you should know.simply look in the prolouge "concerning hobbits" and you shold find the answer. [img]smilies/evil.gif[/img]
