the doublings are coming the doublings are coming!

A thought occured to me when I wwas reading crazy captions...

what are some names races could called each other, other than those they do now..

for example hobbits call men Big-Folk and
Men call Hobbits halflings well to hobbits hobbits are normal size

would they call men doublings for example?

Well, dragons would probably refer to just about every other race as "food," but beyond that, I'm not sure

Aye, and the Dwarves are somewhere between the Halflings and the Doublings, are they not? Would they be called "Three-Quarterlings"?

Alcarillo has just left Hobbiton.
I think that Men could call themselves singlings, because if they call hobbits halflings then Men must be the size of two. Elves might be One-and-a-quarterlings (Two-and-a-halflings to halflings).
