I can't imagine he would put himself through the make-up ordeal of being an orc. How about a citizen of Lamedon dropping a brick after seeing the Army of the Dead?
H.C.

I picked this up from a post of HCIsland's on one of your other threads, mpt120:

quote:
When the orcs are trying to break through the gates, before Aragorn and Gimli jump onto the causeway, there are men throwing rocks and spears down on the orcs from above. PJ is easily recognizable.

Hope that answers your question (it answered mine).
[ August 27, 2003: Message edited by: The Only Real Estel ]

I just watched that part, but didn't see him. I usually catch that sort of stuff too. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to watch it again... oh darn .

Are you asking about FOTR or TTT? Someone pointed out to me that in FOTR, Peter Jackson is shown for a split-second just as the Hobbits enter Bree. That dark scene immediately after they enter the gates. He's the stocky-looking bearded guy eating a carrot.

He's talking about TTT.
Scott: He throws a spear, & he's wearing that hooded ring-mail type stuff.

I wonder where he'll appear in ROTK? My best guess is that he'll be somewhere in Minas Tirith or the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, but what are your thoughts?

I bet (if he is in the ROTK) he will be a servant of sauron.. Maybe one from harad or something.
For some reason I dont think he would fit in very well with the physically fit soldiers of minas tirth.

I thought I caught a glimpse of him with all the wild men burning the village in Rohan. But maybe it was just my vivid imagination and all the beards...

You're right, Daisy. He's one of the Dunlendings (as well as being a soldier of Rohan). He's in the scene where they're getting the pep talk from Saruman, right before they charge off to burn stuff. I think he runs at the camera.
My guess is that he'll be a wounded soldier in the Houses of Healing.
Cheers!
-Lily

I think he'll probably be someone in the war, although that's just a wild guess.

Ha ha...PJ a soldier...well, yeah. Maybe when (if this is in the movie) Faramir is asking the citizens of Minas Tirith if Aragorn should rule them, the camera will probably pan over the crowd, and PJ might be in there somewhere.

PJ likes to put himself in the action, so that's all I can think of.
