I found some cool things to watch for in TTT and FOTR.In TTT -In one of the first wide shots of Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn tracking the Uruks, all three actors are running injured. Viggo had broken his toes doing a previous scene, Orlando Bloom had a cracked rib from falling off a horse and the scale double of John Rhys-Davies had a knee problem. -During Theoden's attack, Arwen on a white horse is visible in about 3 frames. It was confirmed that she actually took part in the Helm's Deep scenes as originally filmed, but was cut from them later (apparently not completely). During the beginning of the attack, when the riders are still in the fortress, several shots end abruptly when only the white horse (different from Arod, it's head is not covered with protection) is visible and not the rider. -Viggo Mortensen's son, Henry, make a brief cameo as one of the children preparing for battle at Helm's Deep. When Aragorn addresses Haleth, son of Hama, they show a shot of the boy standing beside what appears to be a contained fire. Standing on the other side is a larger boy wearing a helmut and looking up at a halberd in his hands. This is Henry Mortensen. -Grima Wormtongue's eyes are not the same color, because he has a light blue contact in his right eye, and no contact over his left eye, which is a different shade of blue. He and the costume designers just thought he looked weirder with only one contact in. His eyebrows have also been shaved off. -Around the start of the movie when it shows Saruman, one of the orcs behind him that is pulling on a peice of rope is actually Paul Homes, a news presenter from New Zealand. -In the scene at Helm's Deep, when Legolas is talking about how the Rohan will definitely lose the battle, there are two men on the left of Aragorn. One is conceptual artist Alan Lee, and the other is art director Dan Hennah. -In the battle for Helms Deep, a man falls and the famous 'wilhem' (the sound a stormtrooper makes when he falls) scream is heard as he falls. The sound isn't from Star Wars originally - it is a signature sound effect, recorded in 1951 at Warner Bros., used as frequently as possible by sound supervisors at Lucas's Skywalker Sound and Weddington Productions in L.A. On the "Rings" trilogy two of the re-recording mixers and at least one of the sound effect designers are from Skywalker. -The first man to throw a stone at the orks coming up the bridge in the Helms-Deep scene is Peter Jackson.In FOTR -A bit of odd behavior. When Frodo begins packing in Bag End to go on his journey, Gandalf hands him a folded article of clothing. Frodo grabs it, shakes it out so that it is no longer folded, and stuffs it in his bag. -A pictoral cameo: The two portraits in oval frames hanging above the fireplace in Bag End are of Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh. -When the Fellowship is crossing over the mountain, Boromir sort of becomes transfixed by the ring and drops his shield. When he returns to his normal state, he picks his shield up from the snow and lifts it onto his back. When he does this, you can see the camera crew reflected briefly in the center of the shield -When Frodo is getting dragged away by the cave troll, he cries out "Aragorn! Aragorn!" but his lips don't moveEnjoy!

I really love the one with the blanket (yes, its a blanket, or certainly something that looks veeeerrrry like one), where frodo unfolds it before stuffing it in his bag. He also starts packing before Gandalf tells him hes got to leave?
