Which movie are you looking forward to the most?
Are you looking forward to The Two Towers the most or The Retern of the King. Tell me why.

I think I'm probably looking forward to the Two Towers the most. First, I am curious to see and hear how they portray the Ents, and second, I think that the part where Sam thinks Frodo is dead should be a very dramatic scene on screen.

But remember that when Sam finds Frodo in the tower(takes place in RotK)will be really dramatic too. I was thinking how sad the Shelob part is going to be. But it's gonna be soo cool when we all go back a year later and cry our eyes out over the happy reunion that I'm picturing. There's another thread which is wondering about the worst thing PJ could do. But he did such a good job in the first film that I'm sure that if the next two movies are half as good they'll be wonderfull. Also in RotK we get to see the ring destroyed and if were lucky we get to see Hobbiton one more time plus the battle of Bywater. I could go on and on about why I'm anticipating RotK more but I won't.

Both, The Two Towers more so because the date is closer hehe. TTT is going to be full of a lot of really heartwrenching moments, i'm not looking forward to the ending because i have a feel they are going to end it on a very tragic note.

DEFINATELY RotK!! I know I'm gonna cry my eyes out at the end, but this one seems to me to be the one that ties up all the loose ends (Yes, I've already read it) and completes the theme of the story. ...And I can't wait for Shelob...hehehe

After seeing Towers (which was the most incredible thing to me, I saw it opening night AND won the costume contest!), I am anticipating ROTK to the point of giddiness. I think I'm going to the Toronto Thing this year - looks really super cool!
The thing I'm looking forward to the most is the scene with that bad guy and the two good guys on the fields of Pelenor. If they don't put that on screen, I will cry harder than I did when that thing happened with the guy and the thing in Two Towers (remeber that scene?)
This spoiler free message was brought to you by Shake and Bake - and I HELPED!!!

Definitely Return of the King. I can't wait to see Merry and Pippin have an even bigger role in the film and to see their characters grow!
Also, I think that book was the best. It was so exciting and filled with so much stuff that kept you reading and reading. So I'm hoping that the movie will incorporate all of the great events in the book.
I know I'm going to just bawl my eyes out too...I don't know if that's something I should be looking forward to hehe, but we'll see.
I guess in a way, I'm not looking forward to it because it just means it'll be ending. An amazing saga will be finished and even though I can watch it whenever I want, I'm sure at the end of the movie I'll always get that feeling of never-ending yet never-knowing...anyone follow me?
Well those are my feelings hehe. Thanks for listening.

quote:
I guess in a way, I'm not looking forward to it because it just means it'll be ending.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I totally understand and sympethize. I had the same feeling when I was reading the book(s). I was so into it I couldn't wait to finish it, yet I didn't want to because then it would be 'over' in the sense that I wouldn't be able to read it again without knowing what was going to happen. But I loved every minute of it.
I'm definitely looking forward to RotK because number one: duh, it's the next movie. Number two: Merry and Pippin. Need I say more? Number three: I'm eager to see Faramir's character redeem itself. I'm sure most everyone is in agreement with me. I really hope PJ does everything he can to keep the movie like the book in every way possible. All in all I'm really excited for it and am already counting down the days.
God bless!
~*Laialthriel*~
