They weren't even in the book until RotK. Expect them there (along with Halberad ), if you're going to expect them at all.

Maybe they'll show them for a really brief shot in ROTK like they did for Gil-Galad because it might become to many characters for those who haven't read the books also they might want Aragorn to seem more important by leading the army on his own......I hope they show Imrahil.....

I believe they will be in either the next movie or ROTK. They ride with the Grey Company to aide Aragorn and everyone at Helm's Deep I think, (correct me if I'm wrong), but from what I've seen from the TT clips and previews, I think they will be in the next one, cuz Arwen is suppossed to go with them. But I'm not 100% sure about that.

Elladan, Elrohir, and about thirty Dúnedain ride to Rohan to meet up with Aragorn. They finally catch up with him as he is going towards Dunharrow from Isengard....in RotK. Don't expect them in TTT.<P>Unless, of course, they're included in the group of elven archers that were somehow there in the movie.

Um, while it would be nice to see them, I'm guessing that if Glorfindel was adjudged expendable (and he has more than two lines!) then Elladan and Elrohir are toast. Arwen's movie incarnation would be capable of saying everything they say in the book, and it's easy to imagine that the writers would be afraid of the non-book audience turning to each other and saying "Wait, Elrond has other children? When did this happen?" I'm guessing they would have been planted in FOTR if they were going to appear at all - rather in the way that Rosie was put into the first movie even though in the books you don't even hear of her until Frodo and Sam are well along in the journey to Mordor.

Yup, I definitely took note of that part in the book.<P>Sam: "I miss Rosie."<BR>Me: "Who the heck is Rosie?"<BR>Sam: "And Marigold too."<BR>Me: "Marigold??? How many girlfriends does he have???"<P>Anyway, I would be extremely surpirsed to Elladan and Elrohir, for reasons already posted. It's too bad, but what I miss more is the fact that I haven't seen actors for Bergil or Beregrond listed for RotK.<p>[ December 11, 2002: Message edited by: Diamond18 ]

There were 2 Elves sitting either side of Elrond at the Council in FotR.<P>I think it was them. And it would horrible to leave them out of the film, not just for them but for Elrond.<P>"Hmm, didn't I have a couple of sons a minute ago?"
