Concerning Frodo
I was going over this in my head last night, and I do think I know the answer, but I want some insight on it.
Did Frodo have any siblings? If he didn't, why? I thought Hobbits loved the whole one big happy family idea. And if he did, who are they? What about Sam aswell?

he had no siblings to speak of. his parents were killed when he was very young. And then Bilbo his uncle took him in. he had a second cousin Pippin, and lobilia is somehow related to him.

And Sam had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He was the last but one child in the family. I got that from genealogical tables, don't remember reading anything about them.

I think Frodo's lack of family and siblings is what him such an oddity among the hobbits, in addition to his rare Fallohidish good-looks .
