Tolkien covering dinosaurs
In the Silmarillion, in Valaquenta, it said that the Valar kept creating and watching new creatures arive and leave which made the world right for the children of Illuvatar to habitate. So I figure, he must be talking about dinosaurs, and other prehistoric beasts and things. So maybe Tolkien wrote this in that way so it didn't necessarily denounce the idea of evolution...just not in the children of Illuvatar.

Europe didn't look like M-E at all 9000 years ago, or anytime in the close geological past. If Tolkien wanted his Arda to be scientifically correct, he'd have placed his fantastic populations on a map of real Europe. So even if you're idea is good, Keeper, maybe he didn't meant it this way. Though quite realist, Tolkien's world is imaginary & mythic. BTW, haven't you noticed how much the contour of Mordor looks like the coastline of Turkey?
