I've seen one in a shop somewhere, and at the London Lotr exhibition. I don't have one either. I almost got one, but they were kinda expensive.

Yes, and you would like to save your money for a Denethor cut-out, wouldn't you, Meela?
I don't have on either, but I would really like to have one. So maybe someone can give me a tip as to where I can get it... *also gives a hungry look* Navaer! Aethelwine.

I ordered mine from tolkientown. com
It's an absolutely wonderful store, and yes, some of the items can get a little expensive, but I thought my Aragorn cut-out was definitely worth it! I think I spent a total of $53.55 on it (including shipping, etc.). I'm not really quite sure.

I don't have one, and I'm not sure I'd like one. I've been deeply scarred by life-size Frodo cutouts (long story)

I don't, *sigh* Seems I'll just have to do with my life size Legolas cut out. Wow, my life really sucks, doesn't it?
which reminds me to order one for my friend for christmas, or she'll warp Legolas's face on mine from make-out practice.

I don't have one, either...And I don't plan on buying one, seeing as they're a bit pricy. I'm a broke teenager without a job. Poor me...
If I could get one, though, I'd get the hobbit one, with all four hobbits. Or maybe the one of just Frodo... Nah, the hobbits. Well....*mixed emotions*

We, my sister and I sadly do not have the Aragorn cut out (even though my mother would love if we had one of him ), but we do have the Legolas one. She got it from her friends who bought it for her as a gag gift. The only problem though it that she can't have it in her room because it would freak her out in the middle of the night. So now he is sadly alone in the extra bedroom
The FYE store at my local mall currently has a ton of the standees. I think the last time I was there they had basically every standee that has been released, and they were also all on sale

You haven't been spying on me, have you?? *peeks back over shoulder* That's exactly what I was going to recommend! My FYE store has all of them, too. I have to go look at all of them every time I'm at the mall. I don't have one, though, because they do cost a bit much, and there's other LotR stuff I want more, I'd rather sve up for at the moment.

I don't have one either. I spent all my money on the brooch, and shipping up to where I live is expensive enough. Then again, do I really want an Aragorn cut out...

My brother has a giant cardboard cutout of the cover of FotR (the movie, not the book)that our mom bought for about $3(US) from a bookstore near us that was moving to another building. I wish the cutout could be in my room though...

I'm trying to buy this life-size Smeagol cut-out that even talks when you push a button. It's supposed to sing the fishing song when the button is pushed. I think it would be a great gift, but if the button got accidentally bumped in the middle of the night, I'd probably wake up screaming bloody murder because: 1) I'm a very light sleeper and 2) I am VERY easily scared when I'm asleep or half-asleep.

I don't have one. I'd like one, but I have no money, two trips and college, not to mention no job, and I don't think my parents'll get that for me. I just have to be content with my picture of me with a Gandalf cutout that I found in a youth convention in Atlanta this summer (it didn't turn out very well, either. ).

When Fellowship first came out, the trailers were playing in Chapters over and over, and there were the cut-outs all over the store. I had a great plan to simply walk confidently and in a business-like manner into Chapters, pick up the four hobbits stand, and walk out again. *sigh* Unfortunately, an unfulfilled wish.
My cousin has one of Luke Skywalker in his costume from A New Hope. It scares me. But damn I wish I'd taken those hobbitses! I used to work at Zellers in the Electronics section, and I gave my then-boyfriend a cutout of Samus from Metroid Prime. Then broke up with him. Merry Christmas, jerk. Oh right... uh... Lord of the Rings. Yeah.

I have a life-size poster of him... but that doesn't really count, eh?

Okay, what from?
Like a band or something? I listen to music and bands most people haven't heard of, so I'm like in my own little world of non-mainstream music. Same with most books and movies too.

Getting a little off-topic but he was the lead singer and guitarist from the band NIRVANA.

What exactly does one do with a life size Aragorn carboard cut out? Unless somewhere in your house you have a room entirely themed around LotR. Otherwise wouldn't it be rather out of place?

I sadly have enough stuff to fill a room, but most of mine is spread around everywhere (well not really everywhere). The only LOTR item that is really in view of the public is my Sting sword, because I just couldn't get myself to hang it in a room where no one would see it (It is currently in the television/entertainment/family room). The room that Legolas is in though is getting close to being a LOTR room because I have both Legolas and all of my TTT posters. It is very LOTRish in there But I love it

I GOT ONE! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I JUST GOT MY LIFE-SIZE CARDBOARD ARRY!!!
I know this isn't very helpful, but I found it in a little stall in a mall (oooh! i rymed!!!) Mine wasn't expensive--it was highway robbery! $35. I bought it with the birthday money from my aunt, otherwiseI would never have gotten it for the life of me. I don't have many lotr stuff, and since my whole family is so anti-lotr, I have to confine most of it to my room...*sniff*I feel so alone*sniff*

Currently, my room is plastered with LotR posters and newspaper articles, and my cardboard Ary cut-out stands in the corner by my desk. That is the only concession to LotR that my parents let me have. I'm not allowed to display my sword, because they think that my 8-year-old brother and his friends are going to steal it, and end up killing themselves with it. Thus, I will have to wait until I have a dwelling of my own, to devote an entire room to pure LotR memorabilia, weapons included. By the time I am 30, I plan to have every weapon and piece of armor featured in the LotR movies.

Well, it's not Aragorn, but...I just got an Eowyn cut-out! She's holding a sword and is wearing her Rohan armor. Grr! *hugs cut-out* She's so pretty...and she's standing in the corner of my room, guarding my closet and my laundry basket against orcs. Argh!
