Short-term goals: (in chronological order) live through the nightmares of my birthday, survive the even worse horrors of the upcoming prom, become a Ghost Prince(ss) on or before my second deathday, graduate from high school with honors (requires an average of at least 1.500...guess I have to pass Physics and Calculus first), get into the only university I applied for and once again be Nilp's schoolmate

Fave books: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (the manual of life and the greatest love story of all), Tolkien's works on Middle Earth, books by Joshua Harris and Barbara Johnson, Tom Clancy's Op-Center (his only book I've read so far...thanks once again to Nilp), the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer, The Little Prince by A. S. Exupery, ..., and my Biology textbook. Believe it or not. I also looove Calvin and Hobbes. Witty little kid...plus Hobbes looks a lot like my stuffed tiger.

Fave movies: LotR, The Matrix, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, Shrek 1 & 2, Kate and Leopold, Anger Management, the Star Wars series, 50 First Dates...

Fave sports: It depends. If I'm playing: volleyball, badminton, softball (I love playing catcher), and table tennis (this one's actually quite addictive). If I'm merely a spectator: still volleyball, gymnastics (though I wish I weren't merely a spectator ), and synchronized swimming (how they do this is still beyond me).

Fave stores: National Bookstore for school supplies, Powerbooks (because I get to sit comfortably while reading a book...and yes, this is a store.), Blue Magic (where I get to cuddle and converse with more stuffed toys, provided I don't get kicked out of the store), Gift Gate (and watch Nilp build a T4 bacteriophage out of Lego), Watson's (where I can be all girly...somehow)

Fave music: Contemporary Christian, anytime! And those recommended by my auditory nerves.


What you can't stand: flying cockroaches, high-pitched scratching sounds, cigarette smoke, car fresheners and other nausea-inducing odors

What you plain dislike: having to endure endless teasing, senseless teachers, being left out

Lawsuit (the original book is Der Prozess by F. Kafka, dir. by O. Wells), Starlighted night (Taviani brothers), Dr. Strangelove & Clockwork Orange (Kubrick) No-man's land (Tanovic), Songs from the second floor (Andersson), Happiness (Solondz), surely Casablanca is sweet and both the Life of Brian and The Holy Grail by Monty Python are hilarious time after time... The world is full of good movies.

Fave music: Just a few; this is really challenging as music from almost any genre can be good when it's made with passion and skill. Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Shostakovits, Satie, Fauré, Debussy... Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, the Beatles... Massive Attack, Radiohead, Björk, Suede... Radio Tarifa, Camaron, Fairuz, Anouar Brahem... and Kate Bush is the Goddess! What you can't stand: Conformism or spinelessness of any sort in general, stupidity when it acquires a mass-form (political populism including nazism and facism and some trends of neo-conservatism, intellectual laziness of any sort that bans people of making a difference in the world)

I often find myself caught between two pages of a thick book, or vocalizing to some Celtic tune. People say I rock. People say I'm beautiful. People say I'm loosing weight. People say I'm crazy...and I'm a sucker not to believe them. I'm a person who determines to reinvent herself and at the same time discover who I really am beneath this shell of a displaced Fil-Am. I am an older sister to many out of wisdom, a younger sister to some who have no one to have a laugh with. I'm really generally pensive, bordering on sad, but heck. I've got news for those people, especially those who don't read music, the guitar playing, tuque wearing wannabes I see all over my highschool hallways: You're just part of a fad now, good job! When I say music, I talk about Baroque, Bach, Vivaldi, Italien Opera, Aria's that are sung by Castrati with names ending in "O"s and prima donnas that your not sure are even women, Massive choirs and full symphony and philharmonic orchestras, piano trios, brass quintets, concertos by other famous dead guys. Throw in a little Euro tech to mix it up every once in while and you've very nearly got my CD collection. Add in every movie soundtrack that I've ever liked, music you can really sink your teeth in, not cluttered with "meaningful" lyrics, but sounds perfected by the voice. It's all about the sound, the feel and the emotion.

What you can't stand: When people don’t put their turn signals on or put them on as their turning, that dosen’t help! A turn signal is an indicator, please use it as such!
What you plain dislike: Ditto on the 12 year olds acting like their some hot 20 year old, and people (guys) who are immature and inconsiderate.
Who you admire: My mom, Aunts, grandparents and my 5th grade teacher
What you most love to do: Hang out with my sister, and two friends (Beanimer and her sister). We have the most fun together cuz we can just be our selves and we have tones of inside jokes about LOTR.
Your self-confessed flaws: You don’t want to hear them all but a few are: I’m a huge procrastinator, I have very little drive to do anything, and I rarely give 100%.
