Gorothlammothiel has just left Hobbiton.
Pipe A touch of humour to the ongoing debate....

On the much argued topic of the title "The Two Towers", a reader of a local London paper had this to say...<P>"American's who want to change the name of the second Lord of the Rings film, The Two Towers, are crazy. How can they say it's clearly a reference to the devestated Twin Towers? Forgetting that the book was published 50 years ago, can I be the first Elvis fan to complain about the title of the third film in the trilogy [The Return of the King]? It gives false hopes to idiots like me."<P>While it deals with a very serious issue it also brings a touch of humour to it, so I had to share the article. Please pay no heed to the nationality, although it is pointing at Americans, we are aware that there are many in our own country that feel the title is in bad taste. It is not meant to offend anyone, just amuse them
