Kings of Arnor and Gondor
What was the name of the king who along with his family was killed by a plauge out of Mordor?

There were two Hyarmendacils of Gondor. The first was called Ciryaher. He ruled for 134 years (1015-1149).
Hyarmendacil II (Vinyarion) ruled from 1540 to 1621 (84 years).

OK - if no one speaks up and confirms my answer by tomorrow, I'm going to go ahead and ask the next question.

If you mean when it changed name to Minas Tirith it was Elendil & Sons

No - later than that. After it was rebuilt, the kings dwelt there in the summer rather than in Osgiliath.

Maybe I wasn't specific enough.
Who was the king who defeated the Corsairs and reclaimed Umbar? It was before Aragorn. Aragorn's defeat(s) of the Corsairs were prior to his crowning.

According to my research, there were two.
There was Eldacar son of Valacar in Gondor and Eldacar son of Valandil in Arnor. Also, there was Tarondor son of Minastan in Gondor and Tarondor son of Tarcil in Arnor. |
