Good morning, day or evening to you all! This is my first post on this forum. I thought it appropriate it should be here! I have lurked about this site since about January, when I lookied about, read lots of the articles and decided that it would be cool to enter the essay contest here. I don't get on here much, but I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself and get used to posting. There are lots of interesting topics I'd like to think about, and it takes me forever to get around to posting ideas. This seemed easier!

I read the books about 13 years ago, but recently read them again and got so much more out of them this time! I'm a really big Pippin fan, and I'm now slowly being consumed by another idea that is taking me into Frodo's realm quite deeply. This kind of thing is addictive! It is good to be a part of it! Thanks for having me!

Thanks for the nice and the enigmatic welcomes, Eressie Ailin and Elentari II! It feels quite exhilarating to be newly deceased, and I suppose it is appropriate for one newly registered in the Barrowdowns! Now where's that sword of the Westernesse I used to have? Ah, that darned Hobbit has it! Sorry, Tom! I'll play nice now!

Anyway, I don't get to post very much, due to a very slow connection and limited online time. I seem to still be logged in from yesterday when my computer crashed completely under the strain! I truly hope to be able to add something intelligent to this discussion forum soon, if I can keep the tricksy electronics from betraying me! Thanks again for the welcome!

Why, thanks for the congrats, y'all! *blushes* I never expected to win the thing! It was just an excuse and a spur to write a whole lot about Pippin! And welcome to the Last Hobbit from a hobbit who is somewhere in-between!

Eressie Ailin, I have never really RPG'd much, except for odd chat room deals, but I have such an erratic schedule and SUCH a slow connection that I've never been able to maintain one or jump in at the proper time. I'm always about 2 weeks behind any continuous action! I suppose if I did RP, I'd be a hobbit or an elf, or perhaps, an enigma!

TheHobbit: You will find that there are quite a few swedish people here! RPG stands for role playing game. I don't really do them, though I have tried them a couple of times. Basically, you pretend you are someone from Middle Earth and you go around and talk to people in that character.

greetings, I'm a newcomer (God i hate that word), jsut registered today (2nd time tho')...i've read the books, found them,...ok. Sadely not my favorite. I prefer "Dragonlance". But hey, whos countin' huh...but im one hell of a fan of RPG's and Fantasy. So im jsut saying hi, and if anyone has any advice to give (i.e. people to know, things to do), I'd be in debted to them

Durion the Dark Guest Posts: n/a	greetings, I'm a newcomer (God i hate that word), jsut registered today (2nd time tho')...i've read the books, found them,...ok. Sadely not my favorite. I prefer "Dragonlance". But hey, whos countin' huh...but im one hell of a fan of RPG's and Fantasy. So im jsut saying hi, and if anyone has any advice to give (i.e. people to know, things to do), I'd be in debted to them
