They all inherited something "great" from their relatives?
Dior: the Silmaril Frodo: The Ring (+Bag-End and all) Aragorn: shards of Narsil (and the ring of Barahir) Christopher Tolkien: the scripts of his father!

They are all described as "heirs":
Dior - Thingol's heir Frodo - Bilbo's heir (to Bag End) Aragorn - Isildur's heir Christopher Tolkien - don't know for sure, but presumably heir to his father's works.

Nope, that's not what I'm looking for.
Fili and Thorin could be added to the list, and there are two others that I could add, but they would give it away.

All three wore blue!
Manwe - clothing and sceptre (and eyes) Tom - a blue feather in his hat and I believe his coat was also blue Kili - his cloak and hood (the same with Thorin and Fili I think) That's kinda far fetched, but you never know. |

Spot on Durelin. The other two would, of course, have been Alatar and Pallando.
Not so far-fetched after all. Your go.

Were they all killed by Dwarves? Azog and Dior were, but I don't know about Vardamir.

It's Deor not Dior, and Deor was not killed by a dwarf. So far I'm stumped...

Oh, I'd not come across Deor before ...
Are they all kings? Azog was a goblin-king. Vardamir was a king of Numenor. Deor was a king of Rohan.

Well, that's true, but it's not what I'm looking for.
The answer relates to the deaths of other characters ...

Did they all fall?
Gandalf/Mithrandir fell from the bridge Nienor threw herself over when she discovered she had married her brother Saeros fell after fighting with Turin but I'm not sure about Pippin

Ok I'll give a clue.
Mithrandir returned this way Nienor found Turin this way Saeros was forced to be this way Pippin took a suggestion to be this way Hopefully that will rip the cloak off this question for you.

I hestitate to give this answer, but it seems to fit.
Did they all get naked? I think that when Gandalf first returned as the White he was unclothed. Following her brainwashing by Glaurung, Nienor ran naked through the Forest of Brethil and was found by Turin lying upon the mound of Haudh-en-Elleth. Saeros was forced by Turin to ran naked while he pursued him. Not to sure about Pippin, but presumably he disrobed for his bath in the house at Crickhollow.

They were all naked.
Naked, Gandalf returned as the White. Nienor was found naked by Turin. Saeros was forced by Turin to run naked. Pippin took that particular suggestion after the hobbits were rescued from the Barrow-Wight by Tom Bombadil.

Well, TheSaucepanMan got it first. I suppose you can count the bath but I was thinking of the Barrow-Wight incident. Incidentally all of the Hobbits got naked (outside of the bath) at some point in LotR.
you said "Naked"...hehehe

What do the following have in common:
Elrond Galadriel Celebrian Earendil (It's not that Elrond is Earendil's son, Celebrian is Galadriel's daughter, and Elrond and Celebrian are married) |
