You shout "noro lim, Asfaloth, noro lim" when you're riding your bike up a tall hill (on my way to Rivendell and rehearsal for, of all things, The Hobbit!).

Speaking of the Hobbit, have I mentioned that the guy who adapted it should be shot? He made Bilbo kill Smaug, turned Elrond into a woman named Elfrida and Gandalf is and I quote "court wizard."

The directors get a leetle mad at me because I go absolutely ballistic at this one line Thorin says,

- You study and are actually becoming relatively good at Elvish (Sindarin *and* Quenya)

- You prefer saying "mae govannen" to "hi" and "namarie" to "bye"

- You think a compliment (on your dressing) is "you look very Elvish"

- You can really explain in detail to people about the histories of ME, LOTR characters and the Elvish language

- You start to infect others with your LOTR mania

- People remember you as the "Elf"

- You can write in more than one mode of Tengwar -- Quenya, Sindarin, Sindarin mode of Beleriand and English..

- You write your Elvish name on your textbooks in Tengwar

- When bored and falling asleep in class, you find scribbling in Tengwar helps keep you awake.

- You have a whole folder in your computer dedicated to Elvish and another dedicated to pics from the movies

I admit, I'm guilty of all of the above.

*get happy when people finally figure out that you are and Elf
*wear the LOTR outfit you made OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE!
*it is your heart's deepest wish be a loremaster and live in Riverdell (loremaster: almost, Rivendell, unfortunatly not)

I didn't have to do a powerpoint for a math class (Thank the Valar!!!) but I did make a powerpoint explaining the differences between real elves and annoying things like the Keebler "Elves" (I call them elfs, so as to not confuse the two.)

-You think that all LotR fans should have a special country so that you will not have pesky time differences, be separated by miles and be stuck in a school that has an elf hating policy (need I go on?).

Helkahothion - my penfriend lives in Holland in a place called Den Dungen. Have you ever been to De Eftling (sorry can't remember spelling). She doesn't like LOTR though dammit!

this happened two minutes ago...

I was holding the cat. Salix said

Our cat is a girl, but it still freaked me out...i was thinking of giant spiders. Mmmmm...giant spiders...

oh, and salix, a scrap of green cloth doesn't count as you making a costume, and ALMOST ALL my friends were there. not all of them are LOTR obsessed. And we went to laser tag!

Anyway, now that i might be tall enough, me and a really short friend (coughsillabubcough) are going halloweening as elves. we are already looking for costumes, but they won't be ready nearly on time...i don't know how to use a sewing machine...

You know you are obsessed when you try to set yourself on fire, then remember you forgot your large, spherecle (how do you spell that?!) stone in the house...

i havn't really read what was above, but it's past 12:30 (here), i have to go to bed. but first to the mirror of galadriel (staring into a sink full of water until i'm sure i see something).

Mmmmm...giant spiders... oh, and salix, a scrap of green cloth doesn't count as you making a costume, and ALMOST ALL my friends were there. not all of them are LOTR obsessed. And we went to laser tag! Anyway, now that i might be tall enough, me and a really short friend (coughsillabubcough) are going halloweening as elves. we are already looking for costumes, but they won't be ready nearly on time...i don't know how to use a sewing machine... You know you are obsessed when you try to set yourself on fire, then remember you forgot your large, spherecle (how do you spell that?!) stone in the house... i havn't really read what was above, but it's past 12:30 (here), i have to go to bed. but first to the mirror of galadriel (staring into a sink full of water until i'm sure i see something).
