Hehe, I'll take that compliment. The Snowmen have always fascinated me - not only because of their name, but because they used to slide around on the ice with bones on their feet! I wonder if they invented hockey too?

Very, very tough! There are a few to whom the clue might apply. My first guess will be Earendil, who was probably the youngest escapee from the sacking of Gondolin. He was, of course, made immortal, and as far as we know is still up in the sky (that's pretty old).

I have a feeling that's not correct though.
