Thanks! Telchar
Well, here goes nothing: I am Child of both darkness and light. At first I prefered the light in me, but I betrayed it, when I was confronted with darkness itself. I hope that's not too easy..or too flawed for that matter |

Or is it Gothmog lord of Morgul
Gothmog Lieutenant of the Balrogs killed at least two kings, Feanor and Turgon and Gothmog lord of Morgul killed none. Gothmog lieutenant of the balrogs protected Morgoth, Gothmog lord of Morgul protected Sauron who was great but not the Greatest. The lieutenant of the Balrogs was killed in Gondolin. The lord of Morgul was killed, I think some were at the Battle of the Pelennor fields.

becasue there were 2 Gothmogs mentioned, one being the Balrog and other being the LT of Minas Morgul, the one from Minas Morgul didn't kill 3 kings but Gothmog the Balrog did

Surely it's Ugluk. He was certainly a strict leader, although there was infighting (camp against camp and big against small) amongst the Orcs he "led". He fears no-one except Saruman, and he stood and fought when the Rohirrim attacked.

It is almost perfect Sauce, except the bad guy and the part about Saruman.

Er-Murazor was the "human" name for the witch-king, before he became a NAzgul

Indeed, Shagrat is the bad guy.
There was a fight (the Shagrat camp fought against the Gorbag camp) because Shagrat forbid the other orcs to search (and steal that mithril coat) Frodo. Big against small is the fight between Shagrat and Snaga. Shagrat was pretty fearless, until he saw Sam with the one ring. He ran away like a frightened schoolgirl

Hmmm.... I thought that "Er-Murazor" was a name that came from a set of commercial LoTR playingcards which has nothing, what so ever, to do with anything JRR Tolkien wrote...
I plead that the quizroom sticks to what is Written in the books unless anything else is asked for... A point of view - shared by Telchar... [ October 21, 2003: Message edited by: Telchar ]

That would surely be Carcharoth when he in pain and rage entered Doriath with a burning Silmaril in his belly.
