Well-

#2 is literal- two of [a word equivalent to "me"] and [a word equivalent to "nothing"].

#5. You're looking for a word for a type of amphibian... which also happens to mean something else in Middle-earth.

#6. The answer- which I'm afraid is pretty obscure- is an anagram of the names of two birds, and is reversed. However, I acknowledge that's not all that helpful, as after all there are a lot of bird species. One is also a synonym for a type of machine, the other means "to flinch". An important part of the clue is the word "jovial".

For #7, I suggest you look at the first page of The Lord of the Rings: Appendix E: Writing and Spelling:Proununciation of Words and Name:Consonants. (The clue part is a sort of unkind way one might describe a vet- rather silly!)
