Well, I'd better introduce myself as well then eh?...
Its a little funny that I join this forum right now, it's been a while since I red any Tolkien related stuff to be honest. Well, I'm reading some books about Religeon & Science right now (about Evolution, Intelligent Design and the likes) after that I plan on reading 'The Lays of Beleriand' (Is it any good people?) Well... er... what else is there to say about me... I play piano..... I'm currently on highschool, after this I'm planning on studying something linguistic..... err.... I occaisionally watch anime.... well.... that's about as intresting as my life gets ~Maarten (p.s., my real name is Maarten)

Welcome to the 'Downs, Wanderer of Light! Enjoy being dead!
I haven't read The Lays of Beleriand, but I'm planning to read it soon. I have already had a few sneaky looks at it and I must say it seems excellent, so go ahead and read it!

Reintroduction
The throws of reality tore me most unrelentlessly and, curiously, most unceremoniously away from most of my online commitments. I've been alive for so long that I no longer remember my brief death here at the Barrow-Downs. I used to be known as Strider, but I've since forgotten my password and my e-mail address has since been deactivated. I hope you can welcome me again as Crownless King. The name I throw about these parts is Adrien (or Adrienne, if you happen to be Orominuialwen), and I would encourage you to employ it. As I have more time on my hands in the coming year, I have no doubt that we're in for a long, lasting, moderately painless relationship.
Best, Crownless King Adrien |

It always delights me so much when old members reappear...
Welcome back Crownless King Adrien (sounds quite prophetical)!
And welcome back, Valier, you've been away for a too long time...

Hi every body!
Well! there's gotta be an introduction of me, ha? And I suppose I should start this way:
Real Name: Ebrahim (u can say Ebi) Nationality: Iranian and of course I'm a boy, 22 years old, student of Mechanical engineering! I was infected with Tolkien about five years ago and I'm loving it more and more every day! Hope to enjoy this site beside my friends! |

Welcome, Halbarad-Ir (or Ebi)! We hope you're going to enjoy your stay here! (You don't happen to carry some Dúnedain reinforcements with you, or do you...?)

Welcome, Ebi. I think you may be the first Iranian to be counted among "The Dead". Happy Death Day!

Welcome Ebi!
I believe littlemanpoet refers to our weird habit of calling our fellow forum members dead, because afer all, how could you really be alive in the Barrow-Downs?

From the shadows of the past, a skeleton hand appears, bathed in a green glow
Hello all.... for those of you who have never seen me, I used to be a regular on this site until RL ran me over. Quite stresful experience! =P But I seem to be better now and so I hope I'll be able to make a return to my comfortable old barrow. For those of you who still remember me, hello!!! =)

Welcome back, Farael! Good to see you here again! (And I don't think it's been such a long time... and if you don't remember me much, I surely do you... that's how the forums work )

Hello, Farael!
Welcome back!
Though now I wonder if I have some seer-ish abilities: the night before yesterday I had a dream that included you (which I considered weird, because I had not had any contact with you for a long time) and you came back here yesterday ie the day after night I had the dream.

There's a theory out there that our brains are only the home base for our minds, and that our thought can reach far distant depending how strong, and perhaps the nature of, the connection is to someone we know.

Sounds a lot like what Pengolodh says in Ósanwe-kenta.
I mean his topic is telepathy, but the idea of mind-opening is present.

Much welcomes, A Little Green. The Dead here are rather a pleasant bunch. Like the Shire we have our happy Brandybucks, our proud Tooks, and our ornery Proudfoots, not to mention sociable Bagginses. They're all here. Friendly too.

Why hello there. I actually joined a few days ago, but just got around to introducing myself. Ish.
Oh and someone in the werewolf games told me I needed to kind of shorten my name. So you can call me Sally! |
