No, no, no. That quote is NOT from The Two Towers - the Voice of Saruman; it's from The Fellowship of the Ring - The Council of Elrond. It is Gandalf quoting himself while reporting his conversation with the traitor Saruman.

By the way, the quote is not

but rather
'And he that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom.'

Just me being nit-picky - again.

I think Sapphire_Flame ought to go back to the book and find us a quote from The Two Towers.
