Votes are...
Sauron- 5 Celeborn- 3 Sam- 2 Frodo- 1 Gollum- 1 Grima- 1 Quote:
Though I do agree with Sauce's Golden Rule, which may be why I'm voting for Sam next. Yes we all know he's loyal, got your back, won't betray anyone, but that makes him too strong of a contestant. Plus all he does is start fights with Gollum who only feeds the whole tribe, by hunting and fishing.

Sauron- 5
Celeborn- 4 Sam- 2 Grima- 2 Frodo- 1 Gollum- 1 The tribe has spoken, Sauron is the Weakest Link (oops wrong show). The mysterious disappearances of the contestants rings come to an end and Sauron is catapulted back to Mordor. The remainders are... Hobbits Bilbo Frodo Gollum Lobelia Sackville-Baggins Merry Pippin Sam Men and Rohan Lady Aragorn Boromir Denethor Eomer Eowyn Faramir Grima Hama Wizards Alatar Pallando Radagast Saruman Dwarves Gimli Gloin Elves Celeborn Cirdan Elrond Galadriel Glorfindel Thranduil Others Goldberry Quickbeam Treebeard Badguys MovieGothmog Grishnakh Ugluk Hmm, continue with my Celeborn push. (I'm sorry Mith, I don't see how this guy's attractive, plus his voice. Even if I did find him semi-attractive his voice is a turnoff). Or, do I hop on the Sam bandwagon? As I said earlier, he gets in fights with Gollum, which is not good for tribal unity. Also, another point to bring against Sam, whilst he is true-hearted and loyal he does not look out for the tribe, he solely works for Frodo. Certainly unselfish of him but why can't he help the tribe the same way he does with Frodo? Atleast Gollum is out and about finding food for everyone. And Sam doesn't even have the decency to give him credit.

I think I'm going to hop on the Celeborn bandwagon. Not only is his voice annoying, but the only thing is "Tell me where is Gandalf for I much desire to speak with him." You would think, seeing as he is from the Eldar days and him being married to Galadriel and all, would have given him more intelligence. WRONGO!!! How can he forget that he voted Gandalf off a few days back!?!?
++Celeborn He has to go.

This is getting a bit boring but ...
++SAMWISE GAMGEE He's trying to get the audience on his side with his faux country accent, his apparent working class credentials and his so-called "earthy" wisdom and humour. But it won't wash with me. I can see right through him. It's clear now that he latched onto Frodo right at the outset just to make everyone think he was a genuine, nice, loyal, "salt of the earth" kind of fellow. But he's not. He's a fake. He's playing to the audience and you're all falling for it.

Boro, you're allowing yourself to be manipulated by the films!
See this link, everyone, for a splendid defence of Book-Celeborn; an essay called "That Tall Fellow Next To Galadriel"... http://henneth-annun.net/stories/cha...72&SPOrdinal=1 Celeborn isn't just a quiet Elf, and he certainly isn't Martin Csokas. Please stop bullying him. He's got a mind of his own. He's married to Galadriel but still isn't entirely happy. He's interesting, an intellectual, a pragmatist, and a general who saved Lorien more than once. Vote for him and you show your own bad taste. I'm going to save my own vote for now, and see how things go. But if you chuck out Celeborn, there'll be trouble...

Oh, don't be taken in by old lovely dovely book Sam.
Who did Frodo entrust his account of the War of the Ring to? And so who had final editorial control over it? Yes, that's right. Sam and his family. So it's hardly likely to be an unbiased portrayal of him, is it? No doubt he heavily edited it to make himself look all humble and loyal and heroic. The guy's a fake. Get rid of him now!

Without Sam there would be no Frodo or for that matter no Middle-earth . I voted Celeborn to hopefully save Sam but I really want to get rid of Frodo. Take about a waste of space. Most hobbits are gainfully employed. What does Frodo do? Moves in with his senile relation Bilbo and leeches all his money from him. He's given a simple task (taking the ring to a nearby mountain) and he can't even succeed at that. It isn't any wonder that he's failing at all of the challenges. I say today that Celeborn who isn't content with anything

No, no, NO! You fools! The island will go to wreck and ruin if Sam is gotten rid of! Who'll do your cooking for everyone? Who'll keep things nice and tidy, and make sure no one forgets the important stuff on the hikes? The chap who really needs to go is not Sam, nor Frodo, nor Aragorn, but Bilbo Baggins! That flippant liar who'll do anything to keep what's not rightfully his. You think Sam was so awful in picking some little petty fights with Gollum, consider what Bilbo did to him!! Wayne, thank goodness you're with Morm and I. If Samwise is kicked off this island, I think we should lead a rampage to get Bilbo out of here. My vote.... ++Celeborn Merely because he's the person with the next many votes to Sam. Sorry, those who like him. I have no particular dislike. - Folwren

++Samwise
A stack of documents from Sam's mayoral years was recently uncovered, which irrefutably prove Anguirel's shocking allegations. It seems that Sam used his position as Mayor to keep all pipeweed, fish and chips, chocolate cupcakes, and other tasty delights for himself and his large family. Furthermore, Sam admitted in his diary that he plotted to seize the throne of Gondor for himself. Why else would he send Elanor out as a maid for Arwen? She was a spy sent to gather information and foment rebellion against the King while increasing the visibility of the Gamgee family for the Gondorian public. Finally, the whole business of Sam's changing his family name to Gardner is suspicious. What was the need for an alias other than an attempt to hide his past? Additional investigations reveal that Sam used many other names, including "Sam the Snake" and "Sticky Fingers Samwise" during his years in the Shire's criminal underworld. There's no need for such an unsavory character here. It's time for Sam to go home.

How infuriating. What is the world coming to? Samwise Gamgee...best of all mortals and immortals on Middle-Earth put together. Wisdom enough to keep anyone alive, so much honestly that I bet you as a kid he didn't lie even to get himself out of trouble, and so much love and kindess that he couldn't bear to kill the vilest creature on earth. Well, we'll see...we'll see.
I think we should excuse Bilbo from this game and send him packing. If we're allowed to start voting again, then here's mine. ++Bilbo If I have my way, Short Guy, your little hobbit friend (who might be good enough to be the main hobbit for The Hobbit, but not good enough for the LotR, by the way) will be leaving very soon. And Saucey....I'd like to know who you like best. <--(wicked grin) -- Folwren

Point in, I was sad when I saw the old guy go and even more disturbed when Richard Hatch won. So, I just can't vote for Bilbo.
